1. Kharif Crops

- Harvest – September to October
- Monsoon Crops (Needs lot of water).

2. Rabi Crops
- October , November , December , January , February.
- Harvest – February to April
- Winter Season Crops (Less water and less temperature).
- Northern India :- Wheat , Gram , Rapeseed , Barley ,etc.
- Southern India :- Rice , Maize , Ragi , Groundnut ,etc.
3. Zaid Crops
- Sowing between March and June (b/w Kharif and Rabi season).
- Requires warm & dry weather for growth and a longer day-length for flowering.
- Northern India :- Vegetables , Fruits , Fodder ,etc.
- Southern India :- Vegetables , Fodder , Rice ,etc.
